The Hoffman's

We were very excited to learn of Jordan's affordable obedience classes. I spoke with Jordan in advance because, although we were not dog owners at the time, our neighbor had two puppies and we were spending a lot of time with them. I thought obedience training would be a great experience not only for the puppy, but a great opportunity for my nine year-old daughter to gain handling experience with the dogs. Here is a warning -- do not allow Jordan's youthful, wholesome, fresh appearance trick you into thinking that she does not know what she is doing. Jordan is experienced and knowledgeable. She is kind yet firm with the dogs and teaches us to be the same with our dogs. She has not only helped us to teach our pets, she provides the basis and reasoning behind the training.

When we were searching for a dog of our own, we were so fortunate that Jordan was present when a rescue dog we were considering happened to escape from our son and ran away. Jordan was able to lure the dog back by tossing treats to it and bring it to safety. Truly, it is scary to think of the disastrous consequences if her quick acting, thinking and experience had not been at hand at that particular moment!

We have just recently adopted a dog of our own. We know that with Jordan's group classes and maybe even some private lessons, we can expect to have a wonderful pet of our own that is happy and well-adjusted.

My daughter has also expressed an interest of being a dog trainer "just like Jordan" when she grows up!
